There are many different techniques that can be used, including the minimally invasive endoscopic brow lift. Typical recovery time is 7-10 days.
Facelift
Facelift surgery can address a wide variety of age-related imperfections in the middle and lower areas of one's face. Sagging jowls, deep folds and excess neck skin are all commonly addressed during this surgery. Operating time is approximately 2 to 3 hours and surgery is often done under local anesthesia. Dr. Morse carefully separates the skin from the underlying fat and muscle, then trims and tightens the facial tissues. Recovery time is approximately 2 - 3 weeks.
Neck Lift
Neck contouring can enhance the definition of the mandible, creating a youthful, more angular transition from the face to the neck. Procedures will vary. Dr. Morse may recommend liposuction or a procedure very similar to a facelift. Another technique called platysmaplasty removes a small part of the sagging platysma muscle, which is often seen hanging below the neck.
